ResumeAI ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered resume building service operated in India. Our contact email is harshavarun872@gmail.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: your name and email address when you create an account; resume content (work experience, education, skills) that you enter or upload; job descriptions you paste for analysis; payment information processed by Razorpay (we never see or store your card/UPI credentials). We also automatically collect: browser type, device information, pages visited, and error logs for debugging.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and improve the resume building, ATS analysis, and job-matching features; generate AI-powered content using secure large language model APIs (your resume text is processed by our AI partners); send transactional emails such as payment confirmations; respond to support requests; detect and prevent abuse.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security enforced — only your authenticated account can read or modify your records. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not share your data with third parties except our secure AI processing partners (AI processing) and Razorpay (payments), each bound by their own privacy policies.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which permanently removes all your resumes, analyses, and personal information from our systems.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to: access a copy of your personal data; correct inaccurate data; delete your account and all associated data; withdraw consent for AI processing (which means you will not be able to use AI features). To exercise these rights, email us at harshavarun872@gmail.com.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies only: a session cookie to keep you logged in, and a cookie to store your authentication token. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Children
ResumeAI is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance.
